About Us

National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) is a lineage-based membership service organization for women directly descended from one or more persons who served in or financially supported the Revolutionary War. The organization was originally founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Washington DC. Since it's inception NSDAR has been dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history and securing America's future through better education. Our motto is GOD, HOME and COUNTRY. Utah's first chapter was founded in 1897. The Color Country Chapter located in St George was established 100 years later in 1997. The membership is currently 75+ women strong and thriving. We actively support the Southern Utah Veterans Home, Wreaths Across America and Utah Honor Flight as well as projects that focus on our active duty military personnel. We gave nearly 9000 service hours to our community in 2017 with hopes of doing even more in 2018.
