Jubilee of Trees Luncheon
We're excited to announce the 34th Annual Jubilee of Trees — now a tradition celebrated by thousands throughout southern Utah as well as a fundraiser bringing distinction to Dixie Regional Medical Center.
To keep pace with increasing growth and to sustain Dixie Regional as the largest center for advanced medical care in the geographically isolated area between the Wasatch Front and Las Vegas, Intermountain Healthcare will invest capital dollars approaching $200 million in the next five years. This commitment in areas including elevated trauma care, neurosurgery, women and children, and personalized cancer treatment through genomic sequencing requires extensive hospital expansion of Dixie Regional's River Road facilities to more than three-quarters of a million square feet, with accompanying need for new talent and new technologies.
From a 126 bed small town hospital with few services beyond welcoming newborns, general surgery and stabilizing emergency care, we've grown to 245 beds on two campuses, offering advanced critical services such as open heart surgery, newborn intensive care, acute rehabilitation and state of the art stroke intervention. Dixie Regional's awards for best national outcomes in these areas and more, means residents and visitors can rest assured that our community hospital now delivers world class healthcare.
Special thanks to our luncheon Sponsor Heritage Bank. Heritage Bank has been meeting the mortgage needs of its customers since 1917. Heritage Bank is and has always been based in St. George.
The Jubilee of Trees is the largest showcase of custom designed Christmas trees and wreaths between Salt Lake and Las Vegas. For the greater Washington County area, the Jubilee of trees has become a tradition attracting friends and neighbors to gather and welcome the holiday season together. Volunteer driven - it is a showcase of spectacular, custom designed full size Christmas trees, mini and table-top trees, holiday wreaths, gingerbread houses and seasonal decor. The distinction of southern Utah talent embraces visitors with its dynamic celebratory spirit that will appeal to all ages.
