This commitment in areas including elevated trauma care\, neurosurgery\, women and children\, and personalized cancer treatment through genomic sequencing requires extensive hospital expansion of Dixie Regional's River Road facilities to more than three-quarters of a million square feet\, with accompanying need for new talent and new technologies. \n\nFrom a 126 bed small town hospital with few services beyond welcoming newborns\, general surgery and stabilizing emergency care\, we've grown to 245 beds on two campuses\, offering advanced critical services such as open heart surgery\, newborn intensive care\, acute rehabilitation and state of the art stroke intervention.
