Issues and Eggs (Intermountain Health)
In an effort to update members about local water resources and how this historic recent water season is affecting us, the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce’s Public Policy Group will host an “Eggs and Issues” Breakfast Forum on Wednesday, April 12 at 7:30 a.m.
The informative breakfast will be held in the Chamber Conference Room at 136 N. 100 East. There is no charge as the breakfast is sponsored by Intermountain Healthcare, but please register at this link so food quantity may be planned well.
Zach Renstrom, General Manager for the Washington County Water Conservancy District, will be the featured speaker. Renstrom oversees operational and financial activities for the district. Prior to joining the district in 2019, Renstrom served as a Washington County Commissioner and worked as an attorney for Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos. Renstrom was also a principal owner at a local engineering firm. He is a licensed professional and structural engineer in Utah with more than 20 years of experience, and a member of the Utah and Nevada state bars with more than 15 years of experience.
“The St. George Area Chamber Public Policy Group weighs in on important local, state and federal issues that affect business,” said Nate Martinez, who directs operations and policy engagement for the chamber. “There are not many issues more critical than meeting water needs in our desert community. We are grateful for the efforts led by Renstrom and his team and look forward to his update.”
