DSU Visiting Artist Lecture Series

Dixie State University, in partnership with DSU’s Library and Sears Art Museum Gallery, the St. George Art Museum and the City of St. George, will host its spring semester Visiting Artist Lecture Series event on Tuesday, April 2nd, featuring a presentation by local professional photographers Dave Becker and Nick Adams. 
The Visiting Artist Lecture Series, which is held each semester, was created to benefit both members of the community and students studying art at DSU. Becker and Adams will spotlight their craft, inspiration, and the business side of art. The tandem will also facilitate a Q&A session at the end of their presentation.

Becker primarily works with corporate and governments clients after a long international career in luxury retail. His work highlights a company’s products and services through the photography medium. Becker’s clients have included clients in the aerospace, lifestyle, hospitality, architecture and health care industries.

Adams is internationally recognized wedding and portrait photography are not only unique, beautiful, and creative; they are masterfully crafted and have won many awards. He and his partner Signe have a style of photography that is a “fearless blend of classic style and modern rebellion.”
