Dixie State University’s School of Humanities will host its third Barnum Honors Lecture of the 2013-14 academic year with a special poetry reading by award-winning author and Southern Utah University creative writing professor Danielle Dubrasky.
Ms. Dubrasky will read from her poetry compilation entitled “The Sand Man,” which won the Utah Arts Council award in 2011. She has received several other awards for her work over the past decade, including the Utah Arts Council award in 2006 for her manuscript “To Live Elsewhere,” and her recent manuscript, entitled “Ruin and Light,” was a semifinalist for the 2013 Elixir Press Poetry Award.
