Concert in the Park-Shaun Canon
Shaun Canon’s sultry voice can be heard on television, radio, and at concerts all over. Shaun got a boost in his career while being a top contestant on Season 7 of American Idol. Since then, he’s been pumping out hits and playing for crowds. His pops orchestra is a swing-feel band that plays covers and jazzy arrangements of pop tunes, classics, and other upbeat song.
More recently he performed on Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker. He’s opened for such major acts as Brian McKnight and Janelle Monae, and was invited to the white house on two separate occasions to play for President George W. Bush. In addition, Shaun has several viral YouTube videos.
Sponsored by the City of St. George with funding from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, the State of Utah and the National Endowment for the Arts. Concert in the Park 2015 Series is free to the public. Don’t miss the second Monday of each month April through September. Park seating is available, bring blankets, lawn chairs, food and the family.
