Chamber Lunch featuring Washington County Water Conservancy District
The Washington County Water Conservancy District recently retained national economist and analyst, Jeremy Aguero, to research the water stability in Washington County. He will review the economic, fiscal and development impacts of water projects and how it relates to our state and local economy. Jeremy Aguero is a principal analyst with Applied Analysis and has been with the firm since its inception in 1997. His areas of expertise include economic analysis, operational model development and fiscal impact analysis. During his last year of undergraduate course work, Jeremy took a position as an intern/analyst with Coopers and Lybrand, LLC’s (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) Financial Advisory Services group. After spending eighteen months with Coopers, he left and began his tenure with Applied Analysis.
Jeremy’s project history demonstrates a wide range of abilities and clients: major water projects, wastewater, community master planning, aviation, state legislative issues, tax policy, chambers of commerce, homebuilders, developers and many, many more. He has worked for clients in the private and public sectors, and undertaken projects of local, regional and national significance.
Jeremy graduated with cum laude honors with a bachelor’s and juris doctorate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He currently serves as a board member for a financial institution and several non-profit organizations. The magazine, InBusiness, named Jeremy one of the nation’s top 40 under 40. He has authored several publications, made numerous presentations and his services are in high demand. Perhaps most outstanding is the fact that he has coached juniors basketball since 2003.
