About Us
Dixie State Community & Continuing Education provides learning opportunities for Washington County residents to enrich lives both personally and professionally. Our Community Education program offers non-credit personal enrichment classes at affordable prices. Classes run anywhere from 1 night to 12 weeks. Prices range from $10 to $99 and options are constantly changing and range from Art and Aviation to Photography and Spanish. The majority of Community Education classes are open to residents 16 and older with several options for children as well.
Continuing Education offerings are new and many more will be added soon. Currently, our offerings include several certificate programs in the legal field including Paralegal, Legal Secretary, and several test prep programs. We will soon be adding Certified Personal Trainer and several health industry programs with financial aid for military spouses.
Conferences & Workshops also falls under our department. While the majority of workshops and events we host are catered to youth (ACT Prep, Summer Youth Conferences, Leadership Workshops, etc.) we are also able to assist professional organizations in holding conferences on our Campus.
