About Us
Utah Arts Academy (UAA) is a free, public high school and is a nonprofit organization. UAA provides a holistic and dynamic educational curriculum and specializes in the performing, visual, and media arts. Students spend their days immersed in both academics and the arts. They’re building their skills to become creative thinkers in any discipline with perseverance towards curiosity and new ideas. Through a constant cycle of collaboration, work ethic, self-discipline, fortitude, and grit, students are more agile for any university program or artistic endeavor.
UAA has its own art gallery, recording studio, blackbox theatre, piano lab, guitar lab, and dance studio. Students learn from exceptional teachers and by using state-of-the-art professional equipment, including Steinway and Yamaha pianos, Klos carbon fiber guitars, a Takach printing press, a laser cutter, 3D printers, and a Mac computer lab.
Niche.com has ranked UAA the number one Arts High School in the state of Utah, three years running.
