About Us
Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah (HFHSWU) is an ecumenical, non-profit housing ministry, whose vision is a community where everyone has a decent place to live. Our mission statement is: Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Utah brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
HFHSWU was established in May 1998, with the purpose of building houses in partnership with community and low-income families in need of safe, decent, affordable housing. In the years we have served Washington County, we have completed 21 homes and working on our 22 now in Hurricane, Utah. In addition through our home preservation programs we have helped over 60 low-income homeowners with exterior repairs ranging from landscaping needs to painting.
The Habitat ReStore is open Tuesday-Saturday from 9am-6pm and can be reached at 435.628.4052.
