Washington County Debate Coalition | Candidate Meet & Greet

The Washington County Debate Coalition, in partnership with Utah Tech University and the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce, invites you to attend and cover the upcoming Washington County election debates on Wednesday, October 7, and Thursday, October 8.

For both evenings, media setup will begin at 4:00 PM, followed by a Candidate Meet & Greet from 5:00–6:00 PM. The debate program will begin at 6:00 PM and continue throughout the evening. A complete schedule of the individual races and debate times is attached for your reference.

We would be pleased to have you join us and greatly appreciate the important role our local media partners play in keeping the Washington County community informed.

We are also inviting media members to submit questions, topics, or concerns they believe would be valuable to address with the candidates. A QR code is attached for convenient access to the questionnaire, or you may submit responses directly through the following link:

The Washington County Debate Coalition will review submissions and may use them to develop moderator questions. The committee may combine similar submissions and edit questions for clarity, relevance, and fairness. While submission does not guarantee that a particular question will be asked during the debate, all responses will help the committee identify issues and concerns important to the community.
