Event Overview

Make an informed choice this election season! The Washington County Debate Coalition invites you to a crucial evening of civil dialogue and political debate. This event is your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates running for County Commission (Seats A & B).

To give voters the clearest picture possible, candidates will debate their direct opponents to discuss the specific issues facing our county.

Come early to meet the candidates individually at their tables, and stay for an evening of focused, informative debates.

Evening Schedule

• 5:30 PM: Doors open / Guest arrival (Meet and greet at candidate tables)

• 6:00 PM: Kickoff & Rules Review – Vince Brown, Coalition Chair

• 6:05 PM – 6:50 PM: County Commission Debate (Seat A)

• 6:55 PM – 7:40 PM: County Commission Debate (Seat B)

• 7:40 PM: Closing Thoughts – Vince Brown, Coalition Chair

• 7:45 PM – 8:30 PM: Mixed mingling at candidate tables

Important Information for Attendees

• Admission: Free and open to the public.

• Seating: Available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Campaign Materials: Out of respect for the venue and the format, campaign signage is restricted to individual candidate tables inside the ballroom (no external or hallway signage permitted).
