The 9th annual Jet Blast will be held at the Western Sky Aviation Warbird Museum, at the new St. George Airport, on Fri. Oct. 14th and Sat. Oct 15th from 9am until 4 pm. There is no charge to come out and see and hear the aircraft take off, land and tour the museum.
The CJAA (Classic Jet Aircraft Assoc.) is holding their Fly In training event where ex-military fighter aircraft will be on display before and after their training sessions. On Saturday between 11:00 and 12:00 am and 2:00 and 3:00 pm, there will be a walk around these aircraft where you can get up close and meet the pilots. Jet fighters built from 1949 through 1975, representing American, British, Russian, French, Chinese, Czech and Polish aircraft will be participating.
Congressman Chris Stewart will be the guest speaker at the CJAA Friday evening dinner. He will be talking to the CJAA pilots and crew about his historic flights in the B 1 Bomber and his USAF career.
