Healthy Dixie is excited to invite southern Utah to Walk Washington County in Enterprise on Saturday, August 23 at 9 a.m. as the kick-off for the Corn Festival.
“Walk Washington County is a great way for you to get your exercise, enjoy beautiful southern Utah, meet local mayors and learn area history,” said Heidi Lemke, the representative from Healthy Dixie who is coordinating the 2014 walks. “We are excited to hear Mayor Lee Bracken share interesting information about Enterprise as well as the city’s history with us on Saturday while he leads the walk.”
The Enterprise walk is the first of three Walk Washington County events taking place in August and September. Mayor John Bramall will lead Walk Washington County – Hurricane at 9 a.m. on August 30 to kick off Peach Days; the walk begins at the Hurricane Community Center. Walk Washington County – Leeds opens Wild West Days and will be held on Sept. 6 at 9 a.m., led by Mayor Wayne Peterson. This walk begins at the Leeds Town Hall, 218 N. Main, Leeds.
Walk Washington County began in 2013 as part of Dixie Regional Medical Center’s 100th Anniversary. Healthy Dixie is pleased to continue this healthy event.
