The Southwest Symphony Plays: Bohemia in the Desert

Featuring Dvorak’s 9th “New World” Symphony, Smetana’s Moldau, and the Gold Medalist from the Southwest Symphony’s annual Concerto Competition. The Moldau is a symphonic poem by Bohemian composer Bedrich Smetana that evokes the flow of the Vltava River from its source in the mountains of the Bohemian Forest, through the Czech countryside to the city of Prague.
