Lauded as "Monty Python meets Quentin Tarantino," this wildly black comedy opens on a lonely road on the island of Inishmore, someone killed an Irish Liberation Army enforcer's cat. He'll want to know who when he gets back from a stint of torture and chip-shop bombing in Northern Ireland. He loves his cat more than life itself, and someone is going to pay.
Martin McDonagh won an Academy Award in 2006 for his short film Six Shooter. Other films that McDonagh has written and directed include In Bruges and Seven Psychopaths.
Josh Scott is back to direct his 7th season of summer theater here at Dixie State University. His past hits include Don't Dress for Dinner, Spamalot, and Boeing-Boeing.
This play is presented through special arrangement with Dramatist Play Service, Inc. This play is rated R for graphic violence, language blood and a cat.
