The Dixie State College Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of DSC Music Department Chair Glenn Webb, continues its season of performances.
The concert will open with African Welcome Piece, which consists of the music to three authentic African dances composed by Michael Udow. Webb will perform a vibraphone concerto by Ney Rosauro and DSC theatre students will join the group narrate Preachers, Thieves, and Acrobats by John Gibson. Other selections include works by John Cage, Alan Hovhaness and Gordon Peters.

General admission tickets for each concert will be available at the door for $5 for adults and $1 for DSC students and faculty and staff with current ID. High school musicians may receive complementary tickets by contacting the Dixie State College Music Department at 435-652-7790.
