Downtown Farmers Market at Ancestor Square
The Downtown Farmers Market at Ancestor Square is a free event, held every Saturday, from 8am to 12 noon in the parking lot at Ancestor Square, located at St. George Blvd. and Main Street in Historic Downtown St. George. The event is held every Saturday starting the Second Saturday in May through the end of October.
The Market features a variety of vendors from all over Washington and Iron County, selling seasonal produce such as fruits and vegetables, free range beef, pork, and lamb, cheeses such as goat, feta, gouda and cheddar, free range organic eggs, local honey, granola, live plants, herbs, fabric goods, soaps & lotions, jewelry, woodwork, hot coffee, pastries and more. Anything and everything homegrown, homemade and/or locally produced. SUPPORT LOCAL FIRST!
In addition to more than twenty five vendors selling their goods we also feature local musicians playing from 9:30 – 12 Noon. The Market is open to the public to enjoy the music and the beautiful Southern Utah mornings. This is a place to do your weekly shopping for produce, shop for gifts, artwork or a new plant for the yard, enjoy breakfast and some local Southern Utah music.
The Market accepts the Horizon Card and participates in “Double Up Bucks” offered through a grant from Utahns Against Hunger. Come to the Market and shop for farm fresh produce with your Horizon Card and Double Up Bucks will match what you spend up to $10 each Saturday.
