Dixie Regional Hosts Lecture on Stroke Prevention
Dixie Regional Medical Center’s Active Aging Lecture Series presents: Signs of a Stroke and How to Prevent it. Speaker Kendra Smith will teach how to recognize the signs and symptoms of a stroke and more at 10 a.m. on Feb. 17.
Smith received her nursing education from Dixie State College, Weber State University and her master’s degree in nursing through the University of Phoenix. She has worked for Dixie Regional for 12 years, mostly in the cardiac cath lab. She currently works as a vascular program specialist. Kendra will describe what you should do to prevent stroke, what to do if you have symptoms, and the causes of stroke.
