Chamber Training Series - Ken Gallacher
Have you ever wondered where the best ideas for marketing, solutions, and innovations come from? Many of the best ideas are right in front of us all the time—we just don’t see them. Ken Gallacher explains why, as he lends his expertise from thirty-two years as a business owner in the field of innovative solutions for the van line insurance industry, that shows why we don’t see more opportunities and what we can do to increase our chances of success. Ken will show you some practical steps you can put to use immediately that will make you more of a “fixer” in your business or personal life.
As a keynote speaker and nationally published author, Ken Gallacher loves the opportunity to speak to groups and audiences on leadership, customer service, personal innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. He is the owner of a full service claim company for the insurance and van line industry near Salt Lake City, Utah. During his more than three decade career, Ken has been in thousands of homes and offices of celebrities, military personnel, FBI agents, professional entertainers, athletes, civic and religious leaders and everyone else imaginable throughout the five state areas around Utah.
Ken is the author of five books and has appeared on television, radio, has written articles on a variety of topics, including those for national outdoors magazines, customer service, claim prevention topics for moving companies, and his most recent book, “Moving Faster Than the Speed of Doubt.” In 2014 Utah Governor Gary Herbert appointed Ken to serve on the Utah Board of State History after his family recently accomplished a 30 year project of visiting a record of over 644 town sites and ghost towns throughout Utah. Ken loves to combine early Utah ghost town histories with modern day concepts of success.
Ken and his wife Brenda are the parents of four children, two grandchildren, and they reside in Salt Lake County, Utah.
