The 7th annual Southern Utah’s American Sign Language (ASL) Silent Weekend to celebrate the local Deaf and Hard of Hearing community will be held Feb. 17-18. On Feb. 17 at 7 p.m., attendees will have the opportunity to watch the performance of JJ Jones, a world-renowned Deaf mime at the DSU Gardner Center Ballroom. On Feb. 18, ASL Silent Weekend will host games, workshops, and mingling through a “Harry Potter: The Boy Who Signed” theme day at Desert Hills High School from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
