Don&rsquo\;t miss our next YP Luncheon at RAM Aviation\, Space &\; Defense where we will hear from their Director of Business Development\, Bruce Doty.
\nBruce Doty is a graduate of Brigham Young University with a BS degree in Business Management and an emphasis in operations. \; After an eight-year engagement with a micro-ship manufacturer in Orem Utah\, Bruce joined RAM in May of 1992\, making this his 33^rd \;year with the company.
\n \;Bruce has been fortunate to have many leadership responsibilities at RAM and within multiple teams\, including Human Resources\, Quality Control\, Operations\, and in Business Development\, where he is currently the VP of that team. \; His time in operations was significant\, totaling some 23 years. \; His responsibilities during that time included the management of core production operations as well as supply chain\, facilities and maintenance\, employee safety\, customer support\, machine acquisition\, and answering directly to the ownership of the company for all performance metrics\, including those related to the P&\;L. \; Bruce attributes the successes experienced during this time to the strength of the team around him and his commitment to listen to the input of &ldquo\;those who know what they&rsquo\;re talking about\,&rdquo\; then taking decisive action to assure operational success. \; His approach drove ownership by all involved and was founded upon an unyielding commitment to customer satisfaction as well as to the assurance of benefit to employees and the ownership of RAM. \; Given his relationships with customers\, Bruce was asked to join the Business Development team five years ago\, and he enjoys representing the company and the pursuit of opportunities that will benefit RAM for many years to come. \;
\n \;When not at RAM\, Bruce enjoys &ldquo\;a good adventure\,&rdquo\; all things outdoor &ndash\; especially hiking\, and anything and everything to do with family! \; His wife\, children and their spouses\, and six grandchildren are his greatest treasures. \;
