DESCRIPTION:Effective January 1\, 2007\, Utah's 1995 Indoor Clean Air Act was expanded to ban smoking statewide in all enclosed workplaces in Utah\, including bars and restaurants\, exempting only designated hotel/motel smoking rooms\, areas of owner-operated businesses with no employees besides the owner\, and Native American religious and cultural ceremonies.  Utah is one of the few states with a statewide smoking ban that does not exempt tobacconists.  At today's luncheon\, we'll learn what businesses and owners are responsible for to be in compliance with the law.
