DESCRIPTION:The St. George Chamber and Outlier will be hosting a conference retreat for Southern Utah companies and organizations\, July 17\, 2015. Be prepared to obtain new vision\, inspiration & transformation!\n\nThis Conference will feature 3 keynote speakers\, various breakout sessions\, an evening social event\, breakfast\, lunch\, dinner\, and snacks in Mesquite at the Eureka Hotel. All for $50!\n\n\n\nSocial entrepreneurship is defined as "the attempt to draw upon business techniques to find solutions to social problems." An integral part of this symposium will result in several non-profit organizations receiving business consulting services provided by the professionals attending the event. These organizations will receive fresh ideas and new conceptual models designed just for them by local professionals!\n\n\n\nOur Keynote Speaker\n\n\n\nDevin Thorpe--How Adding a Social Mission Can Add Profit\n\nDevin Thorpe thinks he is the luckiest person alive. After being "let go" from the best job he'd ever had as the Chief Financial Officer of third largest company on the 2009 Inc. 500 list he and his wife ended up living in China for a year where he wrote "Your Mark On The World" and embarked on the career he'd always wanted yet hadn't dared dream.
