SUMMARY:Professional Women's Inspiration Luncheon "Strengthening Your Influence as a Woman"
DESCRIPTION:Join us for our "Professional Women's Quarterly Inspiration Luncheon" featuring Susan Madsen.  Dr.Susan R. Madsen is the Orin R. Woodbury Professor of Leadership and Ethics in the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University. Susan has been heavily involved for over a decade in researching the lifetime development of prominent women leaders and has a host of books and articles published on this work. In the past year\, Dr. Madsen released six briefs through the Utah Women Leadership Project\, which she founded\, on Utah women and leadership in all sectors and settings. Overall\, Susan has authored or edited five books and has published nearly 100 articles\, chapters\, and reports. She presents often in local\, national\, and international settings. In 2012 she presented in NGO sessions at the United Nations in New York and Geneva on women\, leadership\, and education and was also an invited panelist at the New York Times. Susan has been recognized as one of the 2014 Fabulous Forty in Utah Valley Magazine\, one of the 2013 "30 Women to Watch" in Utah Business Magazine\, and she is a 2012 Salt Lake Chamber PathFinder Awardee. She has also worked since 2009 on the Utah Women and Education Initiative for the state of Utah to figure out how to get more Utah women to graduate from college. Dr. Madsen received her doctorate from the University of Minnesota in human resource development. \n\nCome Expecting to be Rejuvenated and Inspired!
