In the 1950s\, when the state could no longer maintain Dixie College\, Orval Hafen cosponsored legislation to continue ownership. \n\n \n\nThe Roene B. DiFiore Center for Arts and Education has been established for the development of arts and education as a hub for the Southern Utah creative community. The DiFiore Center\, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization\, is focused on preserving human connection. All funding for the center is donation-based\, and 100% of the donations go to programs and operations.
