DESCRIPTION:Be one of the 1\,200 participants in the exciting St. George Marathon experience as we walk to the St. George Marathon finish line with Mayor Jon Pike\, friends and family! The Mayor's Walk begins on Saturday promptly at 7:00 a.m. at Sand Town Park (please arrive early)\, and follows Diagonal Street to Main Street to 300 South\, ending at the finish line at Vernon Worthen Park (350 E 300 S). Walkers must finish by 8:00 am to ensure an open course for the Marathon's Wheelchair Division.\n\nThe proceeds from the Mayor's Walk go to support Exchange Club projects including SUPAF (Southern Utah Performing Arts Festival)\, Freedom Shrines in our schools and public facilities\, Child Abuse Prevention programs\, Student of the Month Scholarships and Exchange Club programs that benefit local youth\, including the new All Abilities Park.\n\nYou may register online or at our EXPO booth on Friday October 2nd from 9:00 am to Noon.\n\nMayor's Walk Post-Event Buses will return you from Vernon Worthen Park to Sand Town Park from 8:30 am to 10:30 am.
