SUMMARY:Lenten Series: Embracing Creation
DESCRIPTION:Each Wednesday during Lent Reverend Stephen Brehe will lead a discussion group revolving around the book "Embracing Creation." The group will meet at 3 p.m. for one hour on March 8\, 15\, 22 & 29. On April 5 the group will meet for a hike in Snow Canyon with prayers along the way. Time for the hike will be determined at the first meeting. This Lenten study will focus on the stewardship of creation. Living in the beauty of southern Utah\, it doesn't take much time to appreciate God's gift of his creation. But what does Scripture say about creation? How have we exploited it or cared for it? The program will conclude with a two-hour "Stations of Creation" nature walk in Snow Canyon where we will stop and pray several times and offer readings from the Bible and the book. "Embracing Creation\," is available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble in both paperback and eBook format. Grace Episcopal Church is located at 1072 East 900 South\, St George. FMI contact the office at 435-618-1181.
