Historically\, golf has been male-dominated\, and societal norms and expectations have discouraged women from actively \;participating or seeking opportunities on the golf course. In this male-dominated setting\, women can feel added pressure to prove themselves\, leading to heightened anxiety and reduced confidence. Because of the stereotypes and \;pressure to perform\, women continually take themselves out of the conversation by choosing not to participate in golf-related activities.\n\n

Encouraging women to embrace golf and providing opportunities for women to participate will foster a more inclusive and dynamic environment \;that can benefit both business and personal growth. \;

GolfHER was created to address these issues by creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for women on the golf course. Promoting equal opportunities\, offering access to training and development\, and celebrating \;the achievements of female golfers can help break down the barriers and boost women'\;s confidence on the golf course. GolfHER is putting women back in the conversation. \;

We are thrilled to launch GolfHER with the help of Utah Tech University Women'\;s Golf Team Coach Lindsay Stucki\, BigShots Golf\, and the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce. \;

Debbie competed on the LPGA Tour for 12 years\, from 1975-1987. Shortly after leaving competition she became an LPGA Teaching professional and for 10 years straight from 1995-2005 Debbie was ranked as one of the \; \;&ldquo\;Top 50&rdquo\; female instructors in the country by Golf For Women Magazine. \;

\n\n

She has been published in numerous golf magazines such as Golf Digest\, Golf For Women\, and Golf Tips Magazine. Her first book &ldquo\;Venus on the Fairway&rdquo\; was published by McGraw Hill in 2001 and sold through 3^\;printings. \;

\n\n

During her golfing career Debbie has posted 9 course records\, shot a low competitive round of 64\, and has scored 17 hole in one&rsquo\;s. Her depth of golf knowledge helped her to become a commentator for NBC\, ESPN\, Golf Channel and several other cable networks. \;

\n\n

As an instructor\, author\, motivational speaker and television personality\, Debbie is regarded as one of the leading spokespersons for women&rsquo\;s golf. \;
