SUMMARY:Giant Flea Market to Aid Domestic Violence Victims
DESCRIPTION:The City of Washington\, members of five stakes of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints\, and their neighbors have joined forces to collect goods for a giant flea market or garage sale to help the Erin Kimball Memorial Foundation (EKMF). The fund raiser is scheduled for Saturday\, October 29th in the Washington Wal-Mart parking lot from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.  People who live in Washington City can put goods in their driveways by 9:00 am on October 22nd\, and they will be picked up before noon. Others wishing to donate items for the garage sale can simply drop them off at the Walmart parking lot at 7:30 am on the 29th. Proceeds will aid the renovation of a home at 440 West Telegraph Street in Washington that will be used for offices\, educational and therapeutic space\, and additional housing for program participants. Volunteer contractors and craftsmen who would like to assist in the renovation of that home can call Michele Poast at 435-573-1659 ext. 102.
