DESCRIPTION:The Silver Reef Museum is pleased to welcome geologist Marc Deshowitz for a lecture at the Silver Reef Museum. \n\nMarc is originally from the Boston area where he did his undergraduate studies in Geology at Salem State University. He then went on to do his graduate work at Southern Illinois University. Upon completing his degree\, Marc went to work for Shell Oil Company in the Gulf Coast Region where he explored for oil and gas accumulations globally for 30 years. \n\nHe retired to St. George in 2008 with his wife Chrystal\, and together they lead educational Road Scholar Excursions in the National Parks of Utah through Dixie State University. In addition\, Marc continues to do consulting work in the Oil Industry.\n\n\n\nMarc is also the owner and president of GeoInsight Solutions\, LLC which provides interpretation services to both major and independent oil and gas exploration companies. \n\nMarc's talk will be entitled\, "Geopsychology of the Silver Reef\, Leeds\, Utah" and will take place on November 14th at 10:00 a.m. There is a suggested donation of $4/person.  \n\n\n\nRSVPs are preferred but not required.
