DESCRIPTION:Get ready for some fun with St. George Races and the St. George Firefighter's Association at this years Fire Hose Frenzy! In our commitment to community support\, a portion of the event proceeds will be directed to benefit the St. George Firefighters Association. The St. George Firefighters will have their Fire Trucks out spraying runners with water as they pass by\, making it one of the coolest events in town! This year's Firehose Frenzy 5k/1k will take place at Desert Color ! Following the race\, you'll be able to take a dip in the amazing Desert Color Lagoon! Click the link above to register now!!\n\n\n\nPacket Pick-Up: Packet Pickup will be held on Thursday June 11th\, 2026 from 5pm-7pm in the Welcome Center at Desert Color and Friday June 12th\, 2026 from 7:00PM-8:30PM at the Lagoon at Desert Color\, located at 820 W Akoya Pearl St. St. George\, UT 84790.\n\n\n\nParking Information: There will not be parking on the Akoya Pearl St. or on any road with a median. Parking is allowed on any side street besides Akoya Pearl St. \n\n\n\nStart Line Information:\n\nLocation: The Shores Desert Color (820 Akoya Pearl St. St. George\, UT 84790)\n\nStart Time:\n\n     5k: 9:00PM\n\n     1k: 8:30PM\n\n\n\nAid Station information: There will be one aid station with water\, Gatorade\, and popsicles at approximately 1.8 miles from the start of the 5k.\n\n\n\nPool Party Information: The party at the Lagoon will begin after the race begins at 9:00PM. Water aerobics will begin at 10:15PM. We'll also have a watermelon eating contest that will begin at 10:30PM. \n\n\n\nAwards and Medals: All finishers will receive a finishers medal!! The top 3 male and female finishers will receive an award in each race for adults and kids!
