SUMMARY:Finding Common Ground on Public Lands
DESCRIPTION:Can we get together with a diverse group of public lands users and find common values? We think it's possible! Conserve Southwest Utah has partnered with the Dixie State University Sustainability Club to present a half day Conservation Forum. Keynote speakers are David Jenkins\, President\, Conservatives for Responsible Stewardship\, and Dr. George Handley\, Associate Dean\, BYU College of Humanities. Participants will share their ideas on public lands in facilitated roundtable discussions. The goal is to bring together people with differing views on the management and use of public lands to find shared values by talking civilly face-to-face\, and to propose solutions to issues that divide them.
