I paint the world around me hoping to capture those small perfect moments that make me grateful to be alive. I once owned a ceramic studio and for years I wondered how I could combine ceramic and watercolor\, and now simply painting directly onto tiles\, I've created tiny windows into that world of inspiration. Bio World travel and cultural experience are integral to the heart and content of Jennifer Gubler's award winning work. A native of Southern Utah\, she has a drive for exploration in both her work and her locale. She continually experiments with a variety of media and processes as she travels the globe. This odyssey has taken her as far as Europe and the orient and as near as her back yard. Internationally collected for her evocative landscapes\, her paintings transcend the two dimensional surface with layers of hatching\, color and heart. She is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including Best in Show for her miniature mixed media tiles. Ms. Gubler is also an accomplished designer and illustrator with a bachelor of fine arts in illustration from southern Utah University. She lives and paints in St. George Utah where she is currently creating her next body of work.
