DESCRIPTION:Holiday Music Concert with the DSU Chamber Singers\, Snow Canyon High School Jazz Band and Madrigals. Seasonal classics and festive favorites with audience sing-along will bring on the holiday spirit. Honored as Best Jazz Band in several regional competitions and touted as the Finest Singers in southern Utah at numerous festivals\, the Snow Canyon High School groups have performed throughout Utah and California\, including being featured at the Disneyland theme park! Under the direction of Dr. Roger Hale\, the DSU Chamber Singers are establishing a unique tradition of tonal beauty and choral excellence\, featuring a wide repertoire of choral literature. They bring complex harmonies and soaring highs and lows of the musical scale that will give you goosebumps  not caused by the winter chill in the air\, but by the exceptional voices that come together to deeply move an audience of music lovers. The Snow Canyon High School Jazz band is more than your average school band. These musicians give a concert of such high quality that you will have to remind yourself these are high school students\, not professional players  at least not yet! Rounding out the evening is the Snow Canyon High School Madrigal Choir. This group has been touted as the Finest Singers in southern Utah at numerous festivals. Beautiful\, lyrical and pitch perfect voices come together to bring a set of Christmas favorites that every audience member will enjoy. We will finish off the evening of music with an audience sing-along that will usher in the holiday season. In a unifying experience\, we will share our common humanity through song and transcend any divisions! Join us for a joyful musical experience. Come and awaken the spirit of the holidays!
