DESCRIPTION:The popular Dixie State College Jazz Ensemble\, under the direction of DSC Music Department Chair Glenn Webb\, presents its annual holiday concert.\n\n \n\nThe concert will feature music ranging from Count Basie to Duke Ellington's arrangement of Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker\, as well as classics from the group Earth\, Wind\, and Fire\, to music inspired by Prairie Home Companion. For those looking for something with more of an edge\, the band will perform music by the popular English rock band Radiohead. In addition\, DSC music adjunct professor Lisle Crowley will lead his professional ensemble in a set of tunes during the concert.
