She received her M.A. in Art History from the University of St. Andrews (Scotland) in 2002\, and her Ph.D. in the History of Art from the University of Cambridge in 2007. Her current research interests include women and gender in Early Christian Art\, Gothic Apocalypse manuscripts and their readers\, and Apocalypse iconography throughout the Middle Ages.\n\n \n\n The Dixie Forum series introduced a new format at the beginning of the 2013 spring semester\, and features historical topics ranging from civil rights\, military conflicts and the arts\, among other subjects. The final forum for the spring semester will feature a presentation on hate crimes by Erin Davies on Thursday\, April 18th. Davies\, herself a former hate crime victim\, is the founder of the "Fagbug Project\," and the star of the award winning documentary aptly named after the project.
