Lewis.\n\n\n\nDr. Lewis earned his Ph.D. in Transnational and Comparative History at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow\, Scotland. Prior to his arrival at Dixie State\, Lewis taught American\, European\, and world history at Central Michigan University and Saginaw Valley State University. In addition\, he is an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church\, performing marriage ceremonies for non-denominational and inter-faith couples throughout the United States.\n\n\n\nThe Dixie Forum series has introduced a new format for the 2013 spring semester\, in which the majority of the forums will now be held every Thursday featuring historical topics ranging from civil rights\, military conflicts and the arts\, among other subjects.
