DESCRIPTION:In this month's Chamber Training\, Ryan Emerson with Nexeo will train on "Responding to Personal to Personal and Work Related Stress." \n\n\n\nYour success in any endeavor is contingent upon your individual capacity and performance.  Employees and employers are constantly being challenged to do more with less\, make better use of their time\, and effectively lead others while under deadline. This presentation focuses on the leading causes of stress\, how to identify the symptoms and signs\, and how to effectively manage personal energy and performance.  Using methods utilized by leading institutions of performance such as the NFL and the Navy SEALs attendees will learn how to better manage their response to stress and perform at high levels during challenging times.  \n\n\n\nRyan Emerson is the Vice President of Human Resources at Nexeo HR. In this role\, he assists clients with HR strategy and execution\, workforce development\, performance management\, and HR policies and operations.\n\nRyan's areas of expertise include: leadership development\, organizational development\, team dynamics\, and motivation. Of specific interest is helping leaders elevate their workplace communications\, team leadership\, and personal brand.\n\nPrior to joining Nexeo\, Ryan has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers\, Arthur Andersen\, Owens Corning\, The Gap Inc.\, and SkyWest Airlines. Prior to his career in HR\, Ryan worked as a Legislative Assistant in the US House of Representatives.\n\nRyan earned an English degree from Brigham Young University and a Master of Organization Development from Bowling Green. He currently resides in Saratoga Springs\, Utah with his wife and four children.

LOCATION:The Taylor Health Sciences Auditorium 1526 E. Medical Center Dr.\, St George Take St George Blvd east off I-15 and turn south onto River Road to Medical Center Drive which is the road between Lowes and Intermountain Hospital. Turn left onto Medical Center Drive. The Taylor Building is on the right just past the Jubilee House. There's tons of open parking.
