SUMMARY:Chamber Training Series featuring Jack Rolfe
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this Wednesday's Chamber Training Series as we learn how to find our own life changing moment.\n\n\n\nHow does a fifty-year-old Mormon end up being enrolled as a student at the University of Notre Dame? Jack Rolfe did it by spending a lifetime of discovering\, developing and delivering his unique purpose in life. Then\, after four years of rigorous study and sacrifice\, he found himself approaching the platform erected inside the Edmund P. Joyce Center on graduation day May 18\, 2013. He was being awarded a Masters Degree in Nonprofit Administration with honors from the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. He glanced upward to see his image being broadcast upon the overhead Jumbotron screen in the beautiful sporting arena. Jack could not hold back the anticipation of being handed his diploma and completing the walk across that magnificent stage. He felt deeply that this was about to be his "27 seconds" at this institution that would change his life forever. \n\n\n\nMr. Rolfe is the Founder and CEO of the School of Life Foundation. This 501(c)3 nonprofit organization has a mission to increase high school graduation rates and is accomplishing this by working with hundreds of at-risk youth by partnering with numerous school districts across Utah. The character building curriculum taught by the School of Life Foundation is contained in Mr. Rolfe's book "Learn to 'School' Your Toughest Opponent." Mr. Rolfe is a professional speaker and had the honor of speaking at the First Annual National Mentoring Summit held at the Library of Congress. In addition he has spoke at the Play Like A Champion Today Conference as well as numerous Colleges and Universities. Mr. Rolfe is a former high school girls basketball coach and physical therapist. He and his wife\, Lexie\, have five children\, twelve grandchildren and currently reside in St. George\, Utah. His Notre Dame cohort dubbed him the Silver Fox!
