He began his professional career in 1975 with Continental Illinois National Bank of Chicago. He moved to Wells Fargo Bank in 1987\, and in 1991 he rejoined Continental Illinois where he directed institutional investment sales.  In 1994\, after Bank of America acquired Continental\, Jensen was assigned to coordinate and streamline the delivery of all bank wide institutional and retail investment services.  In 1998\, Jenson joined Zions Bank as a senior vice president.
