He will be presenting on epidemics facing Southern Utah and what we can do to help.\n\n \n\nAbout Jordan Merrill\n\nJordan Merrill is a Community Health Area Improvement Specialist for Intermountain Healthcare serving Dixie Regional Medical Center\, Cedar City Hospital\, and Garfield Memorial Hospital. Jordan has worked in the community health field for several years after receiving an education from Dixie State and Southern Utah University. He has served on state prevention coalitions and currently serves on the local Healthy Dixie Council\, Washington County Prevention Coalition\, and Opioid Coalition. Jordan works closely with fellow not-for-profit organizations and other community partners to address prevention\, wellness\, and access to medical and behavioral health services for low-income\, uninsured\, and vulnerable people. He appreciates the power that comes from community collaboration and working together for the underserved population. He and his wife\, Talia\, have four children and reside in St. George.
