This weeks lecture - Characters of the Beaver Dam Slope Researcher Milt Hokanson will share the new oral history program being developed by BLM & SUNCLF. Beaver Dam Wash is our little piece of the Mojave Desert\, a world away from the red cliffs of St. George. While most widely known for peaceful vistas and Joshua Tree forests\, it also has a rich and varied history of ranching. Hokanson will share the best photos\, videos and oral histories he has compiled of the cowboys out on the slope. Admission is free\, but space is limited for this popular lecture series. To obtain tickets visit the Interagency Information Center or call 435-688-3200. Once tickets are reserved\, seating is first come\, first served among ticket holders.
