DESCRIPTION:Every day\, ordinary people make extraordinary contributions by putting their needs aside to help others in our community. The American Red Cross is honored to salute these unsung heroes. Your hero might be a lifeguard who saved a drowning child\, an ordinary citizen who performed CPR when a stranger collapsed at a shopping mall\, or who saved a neighbor's beloved pets from a fire.\n\nThe awards are presented by the Utah Region of the American Red Cross with the generous support of our sponsors.\n\n\n\nLifetime Achievement\n\nLee Bracken\, Three term Mayor and 30 year EMT of Enterprise\n\n\n\nCommunity Service Hero:  BACA of Southern Utah\n\nBikers Against Child Abuse that works to create a safe environment for abused kids.\n\n\n\nEducator Hero:  Curtis Larson\n\nTeaching hundreds of youth computer science skills\n\n\n\nFirst Responder Hero:  Adam Phillips\n\nAssumes responsibility of a widow whose husband dies after a call\n\n\n\nInternational Hero:  Tim & Penelope Eicher\n\nOn a trip to Peru\, they saw a need\, came home and raised funds\, adn went back to Peru to build.
