Southwest Astronomy Festival
Join us for the 2nd annual Southwest Astronomy Festival. The Southwest Astronomy Festival is coordinated by the Cedar Breaks National Monument and Grand Canyon-Parashant National Monument in partnership with local organizations. Together, we provide a series of events that focus on astronomy, dark sky preservation, and having fun in the great outdoors. Through star parties, sun parties, workshops, presentations, exhibits, and many other activities, we seek to foster a relationship between the community and the night sky. This festival is an umbrella event, covering a larger series of events across Southern Utah for 3 days. Please check the website in May 2018 for a complete listing of events, and check out our 2017 PDF brochure online to get an idea of what to expect in 2018. Events will be held all around Southern Utah. For a map of 2017 events, please view this list: https://goo.gl/maps/1NLohnj2J8J2
