About Travis & Lisa
Lisa Hopkins and St. George native, Travis M. Seegmiller, met at Yale University nearly twenty years ago, when both were undergraduates. An unlikely couple at first blush --- Lisa was an artsy Theater major with a passion for singing and acting, and Travis was an aspiring Management Strategy Consultant and attorney with a passion for Investing and Public Policy --- these college sweethearts nevertheless hit-it-off instantly, proving that opposites really DO attract! After stints in New York City that took Travis to Wall Street and the famed McKinsey & Company global consulting firm, and that took Lisa to Juilliard, Broadway, and quickly to a Tony Award.
With the birth of their first child six years ago, Lisa and Travis avowed to "retire" from the bustle of Big City life in order to focus on raising their growing family with cultural roots firmly grounded in the values of the Seegmiller Family Farm in the Washington Fields. Today they are thrilled to live with their 3 children at the site of the original Seegmiller farm, where Lisa teaches voice and acting privately with frequent exciting roles at Tuacahn Ampitheater, and where Travis teaches law and business at Dixie State University with frequent exciting advisory roles for local and global clients.
