Chamber Inspiration Luncheon featuring Eureka Casino Hotel CEO Greg Lee
Gregory T.H. Lee is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Eureka Casino Resort, in Mesquite, Nevada. He co-founded the business with his father, Ted, in 1988. Lee remains involved in the Lee family businesses, but focuses his energy on building Eureka into a market leader and improving the Mesquite community.
Lee works to improve the Mesquite market by serving on the board of the Mesquite Resort Association, the Mesquite Health and Wellness Foundation and established the Eureka Community Initiative creating scholarship programs for graduating seniors to attend UNLV.
Lee has been the architect for the repositioning of the Eureka Casino Resort into the Mesquite market leader. He opened the property in 1997 and incrementally transformed it from a small and simple operation to a modern, multi-faceted resort and casino.
Prior to entering the gaming industry, Lee practiced law in New York City, where he met his wife, Dana. Lee is an active member of the Las Vegas community, serving on the boards of the LVCVA, the UNLV Foundation, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Problem Gambling Center, the Governor’s Advisory Committee for Problem Gambling, the Meadows School, the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, the Nevada Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and the Harvard Club of Nevada.
In 2003, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce awarded Lee the Community Achievement Award for Hospitality. In the same year, he was recognized by the Problem Gambling Center for its founding of the program to assist families of pathological gamblers. In 2012, Mesquite’s Elks Lodge awarded him Citizen of The Year and through his leadership the company was awarded the Mesquite Chamber of Commerce’s 2013 Business of the Year award.
Lee is a graduate of Harvard College where he studied architecture and art history and played on four undefeated and Intercollegiate Championship Varsity squash teams. He later earned a J.D. from the University of Southern California.
