Sunset on the Square: The Blind Side

Sunset on the Square (SOTS), Friday night FREE family movies on the Town Square in the City of St. George has been a huge success this season thank you to the support of our local community.  The event is hosted by Write It Up! and the City of St. George.  This Friday will mark the end of the season with the annual finale, St. George Chamber Night.  The Friday event, August 22, 2014 will feature local Chamber member businesses at a discounted rate as well as games, prizes, face painting, the Dealer Collision Water Balloon Challenge, dancing and a 2015 movie selection Facebook contest  before the movie The Blind Side starts at dusk. 
“This is always one of my favorite events of the season.  It is a pleasure to share the many successful local businesses that support our community with our audience.  We have featured Chamber Night as our season finale for several years, and the whole Chamber team is great to work with.  And, I also have to admit, I just love football movies – and Sandra Bullock, so I am excited to see The Blind Side on Friday!  Plus, this year we have a movie selection contest where the audience can share what they would like to see next year to win a prize.  It will be fun to see what our audience wants for next season.” explained Dawn McLain, the Event Coordinator. 
Attendees are encouraged to come early and enjoy the food, vendors and pre-show activities.  Vendors will be setting up by 5:00 p.m. and on site to entertain for the entire evening.
