Event Description:

Small businesses are the backbone of our community. The St. George Area Chamber of Commerce believes the overall prosperity of our local economy hinges largely on their successes, which is why on June 19 small businesses will converge at the Dixie Convention Center when the Chamber hosts the Small Business Summit and Business Expo.
The Summit will provide the opportunity for small business owners, managers and entrepreneurs to network and learn new tools, tactics and strategies, gain practical skills and make invaluable connections to help support the growth and prosperity of small business in Utah, especially southern Utah. 
This-full day conference, sponsored by Innovation Plaza at Dixie State University, will feature keynote speakers and breakout sessions designed to inspire, inform and provide businesses the tools they need to succeed. 

Keynote speakers include Amy Anderson Rees and Brad Bonham.

About Amy Anderson Rees

Amy Rees Anderson is a successful entrepreneur, angel investor, philanthropist, author, and public speaker.
Amy Rees Anderson is the Managing Partner of REES Capital, an Angel Investing Firm;  the founder of the IPOP Foundation, a charity focused on promoting entrepreneurship as a pathway to self-reliance;  and is currently serving on 13 boards.
Amy serves as a contributor to both Forbes and the Huffington Post and is the author of the newly released book, “What Awesome Looks Like: How To Excel In Business & Life”.  She is an in-demand keynote speaker, and an invited lecturer at a number of Universities.
Previously, Amy was the CEO of MediConnect Global, a healthcare technology company she grew and sold for over $377 million. 
Amy has been the recipient of numerous awards including the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award. She’s been featured in Inc Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Businessweek, and many other national publications. In 2015 Amy received an honorary PhD. 

About Brad Bonham

Brad Bonham is a devoted husband and father, a successful businessman, and educator.
He was born in Utah, raised in California and returned to pursue his education, build his business and raise his family in the shadows of the majestic Wasatch Front mountains.
He has launched and has grown a successful ready-to-assemble furniture business with now over $100 million in annual revenue and customers around the globe. He was recently recognized as a Utah Business 40 Under Forty Honoree and as an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist. Through his business, he has had the privilege of directly contributing to Utah’s successful economy through job creation and capital infusion.
In addition to hiking, biking and swimming with his family, he’s dedicated to supporting and serving with community organizations like LDS Charities, the Catholic League of Charities, the Utah Food Bank, the Tyler Robinson Foundation, and the Make a Wish Foundation of Utah where he currently serves as the Chairman of the board.
